Some weeks stay with you forever. For us, April was exactly that kind of moment. Within just a few days, we were able to welcome three special mares to our breeding program—two exceptional filly foals and a new broodmare.
With Welldonia, the daughter of Wishing Well and Amaron, and Laima, the daughter of Lady Vivian and Waldpfad, two filly foals were born who captivated us from the very first moment. Powerful, elegant, and full of charisma, they embody everything we hope for in a modern Thoroughbred breeding program.
As if this joy weren’t already great enough, we were also able to welcome Smentana into our family as a new broodmare that same week. With her exceptional pedigree, her own racing achievements, and her impressive conformation, she enriches our breeding program in a very special way.
Our joy over this extraordinary week was so great that the whole family gathered together. Together, we marveled at the two foals, welcomed Smentana, and celebrated this special moment. It is precisely these moments that show why racehorse breeding is far more than just the selection of bloodlines—it thrives on passion, shared dreams, and the joy of seeing something new grow.
But the best part is: all three mares are doing well. Both the foals and their mothers have handled the first few days beautifully and are developing well.
